One cost is compulsory and is not ours. Everything we charge for is optional, paid once, and yours for good.
The dMAT exam fee is €150, and it is not paid to us.
It goes to g.a.s.t., the body that administers the test, during registration on the official participant portal. dMAT Prep is an independent preparation site: we cannot register you for the exam, we never handle that payment, and nothing below replaces it.
Fees, dates and eligibility rules are set by g.a.s.t. and can change between cycles, so confirm the current figure on the official dMAT information for India before you plan around it. Our registration and APS timeline sets out the order the steps happen in.
Everything from here down is optional, and separate from that fee.

A single total tells you almost nothing about what to do on Monday morning. The useful question is narrower: which subtest is costing you the most, and is that gap closing?
Accuracy broken out by subtest the moment you finish, with a worked answer for every question you missed — not just a mark out of 30.
A shorter timed sitting that names the subtest costing you the most, so your first study session starts from a measurement instead of a guess.
Per-subtest accuracy tracked across attempts, so a second and third sitting tell you whether the weakest area is actually moving.
What we deliberately do not do: predict your official dMAT score, or rank you against other candidates. Nobody outside g.a.s.t. holds the data to do either honestly. We measure you against your own previous attempts, which is the comparison you can act on.
There are other places to buy dMAT practice. These are the differences worth knowing before you pick one — including the one where we are behind.
| dMAT Prep | Commonly elsewhere | |
|---|---|---|
| What ₹499 buys | Unlimited attempts at the 28–30-question Starter Mock, reshuffled every time | A single mock, sat once |
| How long access lasts | One payment, then yours for good — no renewals | Access often ends on test day |
| Every question | Written for this test by us — never a reproduction of an official one | Varies; ask before you buy |
| After each attempt | A worked explanation for every question, and accuracy split by subtest | Usually a score and an answer key |
| Across attempts | Per-subtest accuracy tracked, so you can see whether the gap is closing | Often a single score per sitting |
The Starter Mock and the Full Prep Pack both provide original practice and internal performance feedback. Neither predicts an official dMAT score, percentile, admission chance, or APS outcome.
| Percentile against other candidates |
| No — we do not publish one, and we explain why above |
| Some do |
| If you reply | It reaches the person who wrote the questions | Varies |
“Commonly elsewhere” means what we could actually check on other dMAT prep sites at the time of writing, not a claim about any particular one. Where a rival does something better than us, the row says so.
Worth saying separately, because it is not a competitor: the official dMAT material is free and it is the authority on formats, eligibility, dates and fees. It is limited in volume — enough to recognise the formats, not to drill them — and it gives you no feedback on where you are weak. Use it to check a rule; use practice here for the repetition.
Official preparation overviewWe are not affiliated with g.a.s.t., APS India or DAAD. Start with the free mock before you pay us anything — it is the honest way to find out whether any of this suits you.
Being able to practise on my phone whenever I had a spare moment was really convenient.
Knowing the format well in advance made the actual test feel far less intimidating.
I did two mocks the week before my test and finally understood where my timing was off.
The Latin squares section was what I found hardest. The subtest drills here really helped.
Straightforward and honest — no fake urgency, no vague promises. Exactly what I needed.
The explanations after each question are excellent. I learned the reasoning, not just the answer.
